- Prepare full set of accounts closing at subsidiaries level, monthly management report, schedules and analysis.
- Ensure effective internal controls in relation to financial reporting are in place, identify continuous improvement opportunities and execute the change management process.
- Work closely with local subsidiaries/auditors/tax agents to ensure that all financial transactions and records are in accordance with applicable local accounting standards, as well as statutory and tax requirements.
- Prepare tax return submission and corporate tax filing
- Liaise with external auditors / secretary/ consultants on interim / annual audit and tax filing.
- Part of team responsible for establishing, reviewing, process improvement and updating of group accounting policies and procedures in line with changes in business requirements and relevant financial reporting standards.
- Reconciliation on US GAAP and IFRS.
- Any ad-hoc finance duties as assigned.
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with experience acquired in Big 4 and/or MNCs is an advantage.
- Familiar with group accounting policies, tax requirements and internal control procedures. Experience in US GAAP, IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance is an advantage.
- Experienced in SAP S/4HANA preferred
- Self-motivated and high degree of initiative, high level of integrity with a strong sense of urgency
