Reporting to the Head of Risk, Compliance & Sustainability, you will ensure the Group maintains impeccable standards of governance, transparency, and regulatory adherence while serving as a key liaison between business units and external regulators.Job ResponsibilitiesFramework Management: Lead the design, implementation, and refinement of the corporate compliance framework, ensuring policies and guidelines remain aligned with evolving statutory and internal governance requirements.Monitoring & Gap Analysis: Proactively monitor compliance across the Group and its subsidiaries, identifying potential breaches and conducting root cause analysis to mitigate future risks.Reporting & Governance: Develop accurate compliance dashboards and comprehensive reports for Management and the Board to support informed decision-making and high-level oversight.Remediation Oversight: Track and ensure the timely implementation of corrective actions, following up with internal departments to ensure sustainable resolution of identified issues.Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and auditors, managing the preparation and submission of all regulatory filings and audit documentation.Compliance Advisory: Interpret complex regulations and provide practical, actionable advice to various business units to ensure seamless operational compliance.Integrated Risk Management: Align compliance assessments with the broader Risk Management framework to proactively identify and mitigate reputational and legal vulnerabilities.Digital & Tech Compliance: Stay abreast of emerging digital laws and cybersecurity regulations to ensure the organization’s tech-driven initiatives meet evolving industry standards.Culture & Training: Design and facilitate internal compliance awareness programs and briefings to foster a high-integrity, "compliance-first" organizational culture.RequirementsEducation: A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years in compliance, governance, or audit, with a strong preference for candidates from the Property Development or Construction industries.Expertise: Solid understanding of corporate governance frameworks and hands-on experience in compliance monitoring and board-level reporting.Communication: Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations for diverse audiences.Technical Skills: High attention to detail and strong capabilities in documentation and regulatory intelligence.Certifications: Professional qualifications such as CGRC, ICA, or ICSA are highly advantageous and will be prioritized.
