CNS Worldwide has been retained on behalf of a leading European client to identify a Regional Sales Manager - Pharmaceutical Excipients , to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the company's excipient sales across South East Asia, with a strong focus on building relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors. The role will combine strategic business development with hands-on account management, driving growth for a well-established European company in one of the world's fastest-growing regions. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a sales strategy for pharmaceutical excipients across South East Asia. Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships. Provide commercial and technical support to clients in collaboration with internal teams. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments in the region. Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and customer meetings across South East Asia. Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business. At least 5 years' sales experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry, ideally with excipients or related ingredients. Proven track record of developing business in South East Asia. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Fluent in English; additional regional languages are an advantage. Willingness to travel extensively within South East Asia.
