Here is where you will come in: As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day logistics and store operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment coordination and material management. You will supervise a team of logistics personnel and collaborate with both internal teams and external parties, including China counterparts, to meet business and customer needs. Your roles include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervise and lead a team of logistics personnel to ensure smooth daily store and logistics operations Coordinate and arrange incoming and outgoing shipments, including obtaining customs approvals Liaise with suppliers, customers, and China counterparts to support delivery requirements, RMA processes, and logistics planning Manage monthly customs reports and ensure compliance with all related regulatory requirements Apply for and renew necessary customs-related applications and permits Work with customs officers to resolve shipment or clearance issues Create and manage sales orders for outgoing shipments Verify invoice details and perform clearance for import material purchases Record and maintain accurate logistics documentation and invoice data in the system Monitor and stay updated on customs and logistics regulations, especially cross-border requirements with China Identify and analyze logistics challenges, implement process improvements and cost-effective solutions Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety practices, SOPs, and internal guidelines Maintain organized and efficient store operations and inventory tracking Support ad-hoc duties and cross-functional tasks as required Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field 3-5 years of working experience in a logistics or store supervisory role Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Malay Able to work independently with minimal supervision and solve problems proactively Must possess own transport and be able to travel when necessary (e.g. to meet customs officers) Able to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and handle multiple priorities Willing to work overtime when needed Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage People-oriented with strong leadership and team motivation skills Experience communicating with China-based counterparts is a plus Show more Show less
