- Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), fixed assets, inventories, and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities within stipulated reporting deadlines.
- Adhere to Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements in all financial operations.
- Prepare and submit statutory filings such as SST/GST (where applicable), withholding tax, and CP204/CP204A estimates.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare supporting schedules for audits, tax computations, and the annual report.
- Monitor and update cash flow positions and forecasts; analyse budget variances and perform balance sheet reconciliation.
- Assist with group consolidation and inter-company reconciliation (where relevant).
- Review transfer pricing documentation.
- Where applicable, review tasks completed by junior staff and offer guidance.
- Support internal controls, risk management initiatives, and process improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a listed company or audit firm
- Strong hands-on experience handling full set of accounts independently
- Good knowledge of MFRS, Companies Act 2016, Income Tax Act, and Bursa requirements
- Proficient in accounting systems, and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Committed with strong sense of responsibility and able to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to liaise with external stakeholders
