- Engaging in and supervise the cleaning of kitchen and equipment, removal of waste
- Maintaining high level of personal hygiene for self and enforces hygiene standards for team
- Supervising all functions of the Stewarding operation to achieve the optimum departmental cost, quality level of sanitation
- Establishing and maintain effective employee and inter-departmental working relationships
- Assisting the F&B Operations Manager in developing training plans. Develops training material in accordance with IHG guidelines and implements training plans for the Stewarding employees.
- Assisting the F&B Operations Manager in setting Stewarding goals and developing strategies, procedures and policies.
- Assisting in determining the minimum and maximum stocks and controlling the par-stocks of all material and equipment.
- Supervising the counting of inventories in coordination with employees of the accounting division
- Liaising with employees of the Engineering Division to schedule preventive maintenance and repairs
- The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling
- A good grasp of reading and writing
- The flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
