- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth, profitability, and cost optimization.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to ensure sound decision-making.
- Manage relationships with outsourced financial service providers, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, compliance, and audits.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing robust internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Drive capital allocation decisions to support key business initiatives, including working capital and investment management.
- Lead and optimize the end-to-end operational processes, including supply chain, inventory management, and customer fulfilment, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to establish SOPs for logistics, procurement, and quality control.
- Utilize data and technology to improve operational visibility, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Champion process improvement initiatives, embracing automation and innovation to streamline operations.
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention.
- Oversee and coordinate with outsourced HR service providers for payroll, compliance, and other operational HR needs.
- Foster a high-performance culture by implementing training and development programs and creating an inclusive workplace.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices while shaping a progressive HR policy framework.
- Collaborate with the CEO and business leaders to align financial, operational, and HR strategies with the overall business vision.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the board and executive team to drive performance and scalability.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to achieve long-term business goals, ensuring alignment and collaboration across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional qualification (e.g. CFA, CPA, ACCA, MBA) would be a plus.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in finance, operations, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of financial modelling, risk management, and cash flow optimization in a direct-to-consumer business model.
- Proven track record in financial planning, cost management, and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with technology and tools for financial, HR, and operational management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Ideally in a leadership role within a startup, e-commerce, or consumer goods environment.
