Job DescriptionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner and collaborate with controllers (Finance and Product control) across the region
GL reconciliation and attestation process management
APAC Finance deliverables coordination – HO reporting, Risk Packs, BRAG, Risk Assessments
Preparing minutes for the meetings (controllers meeting, APAC Attestation Committee, month-end close calls)
Maintaining APAC HUB connect site and sharepoint
Review and enhance APAC financial submissions: Oversee and critically evaluate all regional financial submissions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with RBC’s financial standards. Provide actionable insights to improve submission quality and relevance.
Drive continuous improvement: Identify gaps in APAC financial submissions and implement process enhancements to elevate the quality and timeliness of reporting.
Liaise with stakeholders for submission excellence: Work closely with regional teams to address queries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure submissions meet both local and global requirements.
Perform value-added analysis: Analyze APAC financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop recommendations to optimize financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
