About Our Client:We are currently recruiting for a multinational healthcare company in Malaysia who are looking to hire an experienced Assistant Finance Manager, who will be responsible for full spectrum of finance and accounting matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Finance Manager, based in KL.Key Responsibilities:This is a role where it is highly convertible to permanent position:

Oversee full set of accounts, including taxation for Malaysia and Singapore entities.
Review and ensure timely submission of financial reports and statutory matters.
Responsible for improving processes, efficiencies, and internal controls whenever necessary.
Assist in forecast and budgeting and provide relevant financial analysis.
Provide guidance and mentoring to team members for their career development and whenever required.
Perform in ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting OR professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant financial reporting and people management experience, preferably with a career foundation in external audit.
Proficiency in SAP is an added advantage.
Possess strong critical thinking, people management and analytical skills.
Excellent written and communication skills in English.
