Job Description :Lead the planning, execution, construction, and handover of new store development and existing store renovation projects across Malaysia, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.Prepare and manage project plans for the Malaysian market, track construction progress, and coordinate resources with design teams, contractors, and suppliers.Conduct on‑site surveys and re‑surveys for Malaysian stores, collecting and updating all relevant design and technical data.Review, verify, and organize re‑survey data for Malaysian stores, promptly identifying and resolving any discrepancies.Supervise and manage construction teams in Malaysia to ensure all works comply with company standards and local regulations, covering the full cycle from re‑survey, contract signing, site entry, construction, to completion and handover.Oversee all project implementation matters for Malaysian store projects, including drawing review, budget review, technical clarification, construction guidance, quality control, schedule control, safety management, acceptance inspection, completion documentation, and cost settlement.Handle day‑to‑day on‑site coordination for Malaysian projects, including communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.Arrange and coordinate training and onboarding for new construction teams during their first, second, and third store projects to ensure alignment with brand standards.Manage engineering maintenance for Malaysian stores and handle customer complaints related to store facilitiesIdentify, summarize, and analyze issues encountered during store construction and operations, and provide regular reports and improvement recommendations to management.Perform other project and engineering tasks as assigned by superiors.RequirementsLanguage: Fluent in English (working language) and Malay; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred for communicationWork Experience: At least 3 years of construction project management experience in the catering chain or FMCG retail industry, with independent responsibility for the full project cycle (from site selection to store opening)Must have experience in overseas projects for and be familiar with the differences between domestic catering construction standards (e.g. kitchen waterproofing, exhaust systems) and overseas implementation practices.Solid understanding of Malaysian construction codes and standards; candidates with established working relationships with local contractors and design institutes will be given priority.
