The team works to enable and accelerate business priorities, business case realization and transformation efforts, through an integrated suite of services focused on understanding change, stakeholder needs, communications, process and capability building.Position Summary:As a Communication Specialist, Business Excellence, you are responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that support organization change initiatives for IT priorities. Where periods of organizational change can be disruptive, the Communication Specialist will keep all key stakeholders informed, engaged and aligned with the new direction enabling a smooth and successful transition.Detailed DescriptionWhat Will You Do?Provide communications support for Celestica priorities that are IT led or enabledPlan and lead the communication workstream of a program by applying a structured framework, approach and process that is integrated with overall project plansTailor communication strategies to different audiences within the organization, translating complex ideas into clear and impactful messagesCreate compelling content materials to deliver communications in support of the change initiativesTrack and measure the effectiveness of the communications efforts and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to amend strategies as requiredKnowledge/Skills/CompetenciesKnowledge and understanding of Celestica's businessExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven experience in developing and implementing successful communications strategies for organisational changeOutstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organisationProficiency in using communication tools, software and platformsStrong presentation skills; Strong attention to detailStrong project management and organizational skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight deadlines.Able to work independently and a strong team player who enjoys working with colleagues and stakeholders of all levels.Strong software skills with the Google Suite or similar applicationsPhysical DemandsDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
