Workday Ownership & Governance
- Act as the product owner for the organisation's HR system, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and operational excellence across relevant modules.
- Provide advanced configuration expertise within core HR (HCM), with the ability to support additional functional areas when required.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks, including change control, documentation, and system standards.
- Lead regular system update cycles, including impact assessment, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Ensure alignment between system design and global HR processes, maintaining compliance and consistency across regions.
- Lead and develop a small team of HR systems specialists, setting direction, priorities, and best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment focused on service quality and continuous improvement.
- Manage workload allocation across operational support and project-based initiatives.
- Oversee core HR system domains such as organisational structures, employee lifecycle processes, and foundational data elements.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to balance global standards with local regulatory requirements.
- Drive data governance initiatives, ensuring accuracy, audit readiness, and ongoing data quality improvements.
- Enhance reporting and analytics capabilities, supporting cross-functional insights and decision-making.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex system-related issues across configuration, security, and data.
- Ensure efficient resolution of system incidents through structured support processes.
- Identify recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions to improve system performance.
- Support end-users to drive system adoption and improve overall user experience.
- Lead system optimisation initiatives aligned with organisational and HR strategy.
- Streamline processes, reduce unnecessary customisations, and promote best practice usage.
- Partner with relevant teams to ensure system security, compliance, and integrity.
- Evaluate and recommend future enhancements or system capabilities based on evolving business needs.
- Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in HR systems configuration, with strong expertise in core HR modules.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring HR systems or HR technology teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage system configurations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
- Solid understanding of HR processes in a global or multi-region environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
