Department: Sales Reports To: Regional Sales Director / General Manager Work from Home (KL Based Consider) - (HQ: Penang) Preference for candidates with 30 days notice , however 45-60 days notice period can be considered POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager - CNC Machine to lead sales operations within an assigned territory. This role requires a seasoned professional with proven experience in capital equipment or machine tool sales, capable of developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and mentoring a high-performing sales team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding the customer base, achieving sales targets, and enhancing market presence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies aligned with overall business goals. Team Development: Supervise and mentor sales engineers or representatives within the territory, ensuring effective performance and professional growth. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage key customer accounts; foster long-term relationships that support customer loyalty and repeat business. Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, create penetration strategies, and lead efforts to convert prospects into customers. Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales metrics, forecast trends, and ensure achievement of revenue and profit targets. CRM Management: Oversee and ensure consistent, accurate use of CRM tools for tracking contacts, opportunities, and sales activities. Technical Demonstrations: Coordinate and lead product demos at technical centers or on-site to support complex sales opportunities. Trade Engagement: Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and professional associations to enhance brand presence and market intelligence. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with marketing, application engineering, and service teams to deliver integrated solutions to customers. Digital Promotion: Supervise the team's engagement with digital platforms to actively promote products and services across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other channels. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred Minimum 5-8 years of experience in capital equipment or CNC machine tool sales, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or team lead role Strong understanding of milling, turning, EDM, and general CNC machining processes Demonstrated success in territory development, key account management, and sales forecasting Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage P&L objectives Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region PREFERRED SKILLS Technical background in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Familiarity with CMM inspection tools and metrology Experience with channel partner and distributor management Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month Work Location: Hybrid
