- Maintain effective cross-department interfaces to ensure alignment, quality assurance, and adequate resourcing to meet targets.
- Execute rotating equipment and turbo‑machinery assurance activities in full compliance with HSSE standards.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations, company standards, procedures, and processes.
- Provide technical assurance and expert support to asset owners on rotating equipment and turbo‑machinery issues, including design, plant changes, and turnarounds, with timely risk mitigation recommendations.
- Lead and deliver engineering design, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation for rotating equipment projects and modifications, including vendor evaluation and site support.
- Assure preventive and corrective maintenance programs in line with Asset Management System requirements, with focus on HEMP, Safety Critical Activities, and equipment reliability.
- Review equipment performance against design limits and operating history, recommending improvements to optimize integrity, availability, and reliability.
- Develop mid‑ to long‑term rotating equipment reliability strategies, including obsolescence management, maintenance optimization, and business continuity planning.
- Lead and participate in RCM studies, spare parts planning, and Min‑Max optimization for rotating equipment and turbo‑machinery.
- Assure execution of major overhauls, inspections, defect elimination, and RCA/Bad Actor management to meet plant availability and production targets.
- Drive continuous improvement through audits, procedures, standards, and adoption of new technologies, including coaching and competency development.
- Support contracting strategies, contractor performance management, and knowledge management; provide leadership support and undertake special assignments as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience in rotating equipment maintenance and management, including pumps, compressors, electric motors, gearboxes, and belt drives.
- Demonstrated capability in equipment performance monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis / causal learning, performance improvement, and project delivery.
- Experience in developing and executing long‑term reliability and availability improvement strategies for rotating equipment.
- Strong coaching, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
