- Independent Financial Operations: Manage full accounts independently, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing; handle AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare management accounts, P&L, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and MFRS-compliant financial statements; provide timely reports for decision-making.
- Budgeting & Planning: Support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning for business growth.
- Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax requirements, liaise with auditors and authorities, and prepare statutory reporting.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage payments and collections, and maintain healthy working capital.
- Internal Controls & Processes: Establish and improve finance processes, internal controls, and documentation.
- Finance Function Development: Build finance SOPs, reporting frameworks, and gradually develop and lead the finance team.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent preferred.
- 6-8 years' hands-on finance experience, ideally in an SME environment.
- Strong knowledge of MFRS, Malaysian taxation, and full finance operations.
- Proficient in accounting software (Xero, AutoCount) and advanced Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented, independent, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
