It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:1) Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., MFRS/IFRS).2) Support the consolidation of financial data from various business units.3) Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance.4) Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and documentation.5) Assist in the preparation of documents and liaise with external auditors.6) Maintain and update financial reporting templates and procedures.7) Participate in system upgrades, automation initiatives and process improvement projects.8) Ensure compliance with internal controls and Bank's policies.9) Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from management.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.Candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.Basic understanding of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with Enterprise Resource Planning ("ERP") systems is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of integrity and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience in financial reporting or audit.Familiarity with MFRS/IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage.Additional RequirementsBe a Part of the UOB FamilyUOB is an equal opportunity employer.
