- Assist in the full recruitment cycle including job advertisement posting, candidate sourcing, phone screening, interview coordination, and preparation of employment contracts.
- Ensure hiring processes are aligned with local regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate and assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update employee records including personal files, leave records, salary records, absenteeism, and disciplinary records.
- Process payroll and administer employee benefits.
- Prepare statutory contributions and ensure compliance with requirements under the Employment Act 1955.
- Manage matters pertaining to statutory submissions and government-related requirements.
- Handle work pass applications including monitoring passport/work permit expiry dates, FOMEMA medical check-ups, hostel arrangements, and transportation coordination.
- Participate in Integrated Management Systems implementation (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018).
- Oversee general administration matters including monthly pantry beverages, stationery supplies, water dispensers, and utilities bill monitoring.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and conducive working environment.
- Coordinate HR-related projects such as meetings, training programs, employee surveys, and welfare activities.
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- At least 3 years of working experience in a similar capacity, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant or in a relevant HR/administrative role.
- Good knowledge of the Employment Act 1955 and statutory requirements.
- Fluent in Malay and English (written and spoken).
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with good time management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP and SuccessFactors is an added advantage.
