Position Title: Procurement ManagerLocation: Ulu ChohHeadcount: 1Tenure: PermanentRemuneration: RM10kResponsibilities:Lead and manage the procurement team in sourcing materials, equipment, and services for precast production and construction projects.Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, supply reliability, and quality standards.Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.Plan procurement activities based on project schedules and production requirements.Monitor supplier performance, material quality, and delivery timelines to prevent delays.Coordinate closely with project, engineering, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and governance requirements.Track market price trends for key materials (cement, steel, etc.) and recommend cost-control measures.Requirement:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Minimum 8-10 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction, precast, or building materials industry.Strong experience in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost control.Familiar with procurement of cement, steel reinforcement, molds, aggregates, and construction materials.Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.Able to work in a fast-paced project environment.Proficiency in ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.
