- Sales Management:
- Oversee sales operations across SEA for equipment, consumable products, spare parts & services.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet regional sales targets and business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage and lead sales teams in Malaysia and Thailand, ensuring high performance and alignment with regional goals.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development to team members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and business partners across SEA.
- Serve as the main point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Manage C-Level relationships
- Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and analyze sales data, preparing regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends. Annual budgeting/target setting with monthly reporting & outlook presentations
- Present sales performance metrics to senior management and recommend actions for improvement.
- Track KPIs, ensuring targets are met and identifying areas for operational or sales process improvements.
- Ensure all projects and related data are properly recorded & maintained in Signode CRM system
- Market Expansion & Strategy:
- Identify new market opportunities within SEA and adapt strategies for different markets for the various products and services.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with regional and global initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment and consumables.
- Coordinate with product managers/HR team to provide technical support and product knowledge to the sales team.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate sales records and documentation in line with internal reporting standards.
- Sales Management:
- Ability to prepare sales forecasts and set targets for SEA, and specifically for respective sales manages.
- Quote preparation & presentation, with good negotiation capabilities and able to close deals.
- Able to follow entire sales process from lead generation to order delivery
- Financial acumen to manage revenue & margin, and control operational costs
- Exposure to SEA/APAC customers and partners and able to travel & handle cross-cultural business
- Product/Segment Knowledge
- Packaging equipment knowledge, specifically end of line applications for strapping, stretch wrapping, ASRS and case handling.
- Consumable packaging products such as PET/Steel strap, dunnage bags, tier sheets.
- Pneumatic/battery operated tools hand tools.
